Sophie Cairo - Reloaded - Jazz to Funk

Music • Contemporary
South Australia

Hungarian chanteuse, Sophie Cairo aka. Zsófi Farkas was the official singer with La Bouche for 5 years from 2016, travelled 50 countries and performed to audiences of tens of thousands. After her successful double Fringe jazz concerts in 2021 called the ‘Pianist and I’ she is back to sing and entertain us again with her trademark scorching vocals! This year’s concert will see Sophie, backed by a crack Adelaide band, take us on a musical trip covering many of her favourite genres including jazz, acid jazz, soul, gospel, pop and funk.

Sophie is in the first round of the 2021 Grammy Nominations with La Bouche with the Best Dance/Electronic Recording 2021, called Rhythm of Love.

★★★★★ "Sophie’s voice is an experience and a half!...she can really power it out and over the octaves" Clothesline
