Songs from under the floorboards

A tribute to UK band, Magazine, one of the first "post-punk" bands, forming in Manchester in 1977. Magazine kept the edgy, nervous energy of punk and added elements of art rock, particularly with their theatrical live shows and quirky chord arrangements.  They only released 4 studio albums, but each one made the top 40 album charts in the UK.  This tribute will play the songs of Magazine as faithfully to the original recordings as possible and hope to bring the same energy as this seminal band.  Brought to Adelaide Fringe by the same people who brought "Wide Open Road", a tribute to The Triffids, in 2021, and "Streets of your Town", a tribute to the Go Betweens in 2022.  A collection of experienced Adelaide musicians will focus their talents to honour this under rated band, Magazine.
