Site Seeing Site | Callum Docherty
Responding to the surroundings of Port Noarlunga, Site Seeing Site is a series of critical documentations. In a conscious effort to slow down and emphasise the details that may otherwise be overlooked, we seek to understand the context and impact of what is being observed.
Building upon Callum’s 2022 Sauerbier House residency which explored the interplay between the collection, documentation and conservation of objects found on-site, this exhibition focuses on the dynamic behaviours of the overall environment that evolves over time.
The artist invites you into an immersive space, where works past and present emerge in tandem, bearing witness to the ever-changing landscape, serving as a testament of environmental transformations.
