A woman, hands clasped in prayer, looks to the heavens with a smile
A woman on stage in a sequinned dress laughs and clasps her hand to her chest with joy
A nun sings into a microphone, arm raised to the heavens, belting out a tune

Sister Elizabeth

Libby O’Donovan is a nun. After a rebellious act involving prefixes and a prank on a humourless institution, she became Sister Elizabeth. Drawing on her own experiences growing up with nuns, Sister Elizabeth dives into the many screen portrayals and the fascinating and eclectic figures who’ve worn the habit throughout history. Expect songs from beloved musical nuns - The Singing Nun, Maria from The Sound of Music, Sister Act and Adelaide’s own Sister Janet Mead. O’Donovan is joined by the Yankalilla Miracles and special guests as she serves up a divine mix of humour, music and unforgettable “nunstory.”
