The beloved Fringe favourite 'disability cabaret' is back again! Join the freshly crowned Mx Burlesque Adelaide Diana Divine for four nights of cabaret, community, and catharsis.

Talking disability theory, personal anecdotes, and pet peeves, 'Singin in the Pain' presents a bevy of burlesque & cabaret stars ready to share in this soapbox-style performance. Presented by and for disabled people and featuring a packed cast of new and familiar faces, this award-winning "group hug but with nudity" cannot be missed.

Presented by: Diana Divine

Diana Divine is an Adelaide-based burlesque teacher, producer, and performer living with a physical disability. Diana produces the award-winning "Singin' in the Pain", national touring bustie-nominated troupe "The JustAss League", and co-produces local queer variety show "Lolly Bag Burlesque". In 2022, Diana produced the debut of "Embrace Fest", a multi-platform disability arts festival which returns in 2024. Diana also created & produces the SA Burlesque Community Awards.

Lovingly referred to as Uncle Di by students and mentees, Diana has prioritised community-building projects that create professional opportunities for up and coming performers, while presenting polished and carefully formed productions.

We have reduced the capacity at this event to maximise venue accessibility for mobility aid users. Seating is non-fixed dining height chairs and can be easily moved to accommodate our audiences as needed.
