For all those who wish to feel the salt in their eyes, wind on their tits and semi-stale fish fingers in their gob! Join Golden Gibbo nominated and Green Room award-winning musical comedy duo Mel & Sam as they heave ho (and hoe) on the party cruise of a lifetime; the Spirit of Tasmania.
After ‘No Hat, No Play! The Cabaret’, they’ve swapped bucket hats for bikinis and pen licenses for pingers with a hot as ever all-original soundtrack.
So bon voyage, bitches. It’s time to play f*cken’ mermaids.
Presented by: Mel & Sam
Mel & Sam are an award-winning musical comedy duo from Naarm/Melbourne bringing a razor-sharp and polished edge to the cabaret and comedy scenes (with an equal measure of chaos and tomfoolery!) They’re queer, they’re horny, they’re cheeky and they’re unhinged, and most importantly, they’re here to stay, having made quite the name for themselves with their two shows ‘No Hat, No Play! The Cabaret’ and ‘Shit-Wrecked’; both of which have toured the country to sold-out crowds and had them coined “the future of Australian comedy” (Herald Sun). Mel & Sam are all about bringing a slick and youthful flavour to the world of comedy cabaret all whilst proudly filling that hunger for some good ol' Gen Z fuckery! Together, the pair also have a Spotify-Original podcast ‘Mel & Sam (On A Sexy Lil’ Mic)'.

Dazzling mayhem ... a comedy gold duo, [and] a prime example of the high calibre of young talent shining through in this year’s festival - Gavin Roach, Australian Arts Review
Original, exhausting, smart and VERY funny with sting in the tail. Effortless acid wit; two contrasting talents working beautifully together - Michael Brindley, Stage Whispers
Expertly executed ... Mel & Sam could sing, dance and entertain their way through anything. No-holds-barred. - Fiona Anderson, Weekend Notes
