AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE
Lai Hung-Chung is one of Taiwan’s most talked about young choreographers. This scintillating production by his company, Hung Dance, justifies the acclaim.
'See You' is a non-stop feast of intense, expressive motion and sensations inspired by ideas of loss, longing, confrontation, and evasion. Feverishly intimate and yet coolly detached, the performance is enhanced by sculpted lighting and the textured pulsations of an original and rhythmically varied sound score.

Hung Dance is a Taiwanese contemporary dance company with Lai Hung Chung serving as the artistic director. The troupe's name comes from the Chinese character 翃 , meaning to fly.

The works of Lai Hung-Chung are inspired by daily life matters, taking internal emotions and physical states and putting them into dance movement. He is perceptive to the subtle relationship between people and nature, and extends elements of Tai Chi to integrate with contemporary thinking and cultivate a new dance vocabulary.
