Sea Shanty Workshops!
Sea shanties were the work songs on board in the days of the tall ships. Join Australia’s premier shanty band The Lost Quays in front of the Museum’s ketch to hear about the origin of shanties, and then learn to sing some yourself, with easy but interesting harmonies. And with the opportunity to write a verse or two for a shanty. Bring a bottle of water and your voice!
Presented by: The Lost Quays
