Callan has been a stand-up comedian for over a decade, performing in multiple countries worldwide, and will soon be performing at the Heath Ledger Theatre in Perth as part of the Perth Comedy Festival.

David Callan started his stand-up comedy career in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he performed for a number of years before setting sail for Australia, in 2018, where he now calls home. His sharp, charismatic stand-up has entertained audiences now in 9 countries across 3 continents, from pubs and comedy clubs, to theatres and even the back of a transit van once as part of the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2021 his, debut hour 'Scotland the Dave' was a sellout at the Perth FringeWorld festival and received rave reviews from both audience members and critics alike. His second hour 'Crisps' strafed away from traditional stand-up comedy, incorporating improv and absurdity, which again was a massive success, showcasing his wide range of comedic talent and stage craft.
