Ryan Mason Wastes His Potential

In 2019, Ryan Mason was voted 'Most Likely to become Prime Minister' at his high school graduation. It was a time when he had hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Now, Ryan is performing stand up comedy in a shipping container, having performed at all three of the comedy venues in Adelaide.

After a sell out season that won the Adelaide Fringe 'One to Watch' Award in 2024, Ryan is back with a brand new show all about arts degrees, identity politics, and the sort of things you expect to see at every other comedy show this Fringe.

Presented by: Ryan Mason

Ryan Mason is a comedian based in Adelaide, South Australia. At just 22 years old, Ryan has fast become a rising star in the Adelaide comedy scene. Ryan is a two-time RAW Comedy State Finalist, who has performed extensively in Adelaide, as well as Melbourne and Cairns. In 2024, Ryan’s first solo show Ryan Mason Disappoints his Parents debuted at the Adelaide Fringe to sold-out audiences, and won the 2024 Adelaide Fringe ‘One to Watch' Award, sponsored by Matt Tarrant.
Ryan brings his tragic-music-theatre-kid background, lived experience of disability, and Northern suburbs upbringing to his comedy, which explores universal themes of identity, family, and social justice.
