In 2026, Ryan couldn’t come up with a new show, so he’s recycling the first one in the hopes it sells out again!
The story of a young man and his tumultuous relationship with his father, this show explores themes of family, identity, and why it’s a terrible idea to pursue a career in the arts to make your family proud.

Ryan Mason is a comedian based in Gawler, South Australia. At just 23 years old, Ryan has fast become a rising star in the Adelaide comedy scene and is a two-time RAW Comedy State Finalist. He has also performed in Melbourne during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Cairns, Orlando, and Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2024, Ryan’s first solo show ‘Ryan Mason Disappoints his Parents’ debuted at the Adelaide Fringe to sold-out audiences and won the 2024 Adelaide Fringe ‘One to Watch Award’, sponsored by Matt Tarrant.
