Ritual
Everyone has their own rituals; their own secret superstitions, vices and anxieties. Rituals appear throughout history in our cultural practices, folklore and religions. They act as a way of coping with the unknown and expressing our deepest beliefs or superstitions, no matter how bizarre they may seem to others. But when we share these rituals with one another, it can bring us closer together as we learn that in reality, we are not so different from each other after all. Ritual invites you to explore your own deep beliefs in an engaging, surreal and thought provoking circus experience showcasing local aerial, fire spinning and acrobatics talent.

Untamed Circus is an Adelaide-based performing arts production company formed in 2023 by an all-female trio of aerial and circus artists. With a combined strong background in dance, circus and theatre, the three developed a tight bond and sound ability to work together in exploring and developing creative works.
Our vision is to create original and unconventional works that allow artists to express their individual ideas or experiences and explore thought provoking concepts. Our mission is to contribute to growing the arts in Adelaide by utilising local spaces and venues as well as taking part in local festivals and events.
