Red Poles First Nations Fringe Festival
Our festival will be a vibrant celebration of Indigenous arts and culture.
Visual Art exhibition 'Yalata - A Happy, Healthy, and Safe Community' will feature a diverse collection of artworks and artefacts, each bearing the rich cultural heritage and contemporary expressions of these gifted artists - including Vanessa Queama, Melissa Windlass, and Emma Palmer and Far West Coast artist Pam Diment. A dynamic blend of traditional and contemporary Indigenous art forms, including interactive workshops, demonstrations, and storytelling.
We'll also be celebrate some of Australia's leading First Nations musicians, with musical experiences that showcase a chronicle of life and culture through bold and powerful stories. Performances by Glenn Skuthorpe, Thelma Cheechoo and Vern Cheechoo and others.
Saturday February 10th will feature Indigenous artist demonstrations throughout the afternoon
Sunday February 11th will include an official opening and feature artist exhibition talks, demonstrations and live music with Glenn Skuthorpe from 12.30pm

Red Poles is an award winning restaurant, art gallery and live performance space. It was established in 2005 with a focus on Indigenous art from communities throughout South Australia and a weekly contemporary live music program including many regular performances by First Nations musicians.
