Property Rites
Kyle Macmanus has invested millions in a high-tech work of art -- ten human-figure sculptures programmed to perform thousands of movements, monologues, dialogues, and more. But just when Kyle is about to sell the sculpture, it malfunctions; the figures are alive. As each one struggles to achieve autonomy, they begin a fatal race against their desperate owner's destructive plan.
Remounting their July 2021 production, the young cast of Wings2Fly Theatre bring back this chilling play which questions - who deserves autonomy and at what cost?
"The ensemble were well synchronised physically; all dialogue was impressively in time" ATG
"a gripping one act play that kept me on the edge of my seat" TASA
Presented by: Wings2Fly Theatre
Wings2Fly Theatre is a youth training theatre company based in Adelaide.
While they rehearse and perform plays during April, July & October school holidays, they aren't just a school holiday program!
Wings2Fly is all about fostering young actors across Adelaide. They rehearse and perform straight acting plays, not musical theatre. They choose scripts that stretch and teach their actors, encouraging them to take risks and make strong choices, but also entertain their audiences. Wings2Fly encourage young actors aged 6-21 wishing to receive quality acting training to apply for their productions.
Join the Wings2Fly family and be immersed in a professional theatre experience with like-minded actors across Adelaide.
Reviews & Fringefeed Reacts
Some people might have stayed away due to misconceived notions of "youth theatre" - that was their loss. Get over it and trust Wings2Fly - Steve Davis, The Adelaide Show
Although being a youth group I found the production to be professional and very well produced and acted. - Richard de Pizzol, Hi Fi Way
