Phil De Bondi - The Man Who Never Sleeps
Parasomniac Phil De Bondi goes from waking nightmare to living the dream in a heartfelt comedy of no sleep, much trauma, and one man's quest to protect his beloved children from those pesky albatrosses.
After finally being diagnosed, the sleep-overactive, overachieving and over-thinking De Bondi starts questioning everything:
- Why did his mum freeze three months of sandwiches at a time?
- Why didn't his wife drive him to Emergency when he had that heart attack?
- And where are those submarines going?
Can De Bondi get to the bottom of his dreams... and that mountain of sandwiches?
One thing's for certain, in this voyage through childhood trauma, sexsomnia, and probable dementia—reality gets funny when your Captain's asleep at the wheel but his body isn't.
