Party Ghost is a ghouslish journey of the post-mortem mystery through a comedic pop-cultural lens. A cacophony of dismembered limbs & ghosts that range from the ludicrous to the downright disturbing, this show is next level messed up & twice as amusing.

Featuring macabre circus darlings Jarred Dewey (Circa, YUMMY) & Olivia Porter (Circus Oz, La Soireè) directed by Nicci Wilks (Sh*t, The Long Pigs), the show centres around a twisted narrative of perpetual birthday purgatory & ghostly identity crises. As sidesplittingly hilarious & downright weird as it is physically astonishing, this show sees two of Australia’s most sought-after company acrobats behind the wheel of their own show. Fans of high-level circus & dark comedy will find Party Ghost refreshing, jaw-dropping & hauntingly hilarious.

'Double Take' is a Melbourne based indie circus and performance company comprising of Olivia Porter and Jarred Dewey alongside director Nicci Wilks. Our work focuses on the good taste of bad taste - with a strong aesthetic flavour drawing from queerness, feminism and pop-culture. The premise of our work is to create a space where the serious, the stupid, the beautiful and the grotesque intersect and redefine contemporary circus.
