This show belongs to the Adelaide Fringe 2026 season. This season is now over.

A chicken cooks stands at a stove. The chicken is frying an egg. The chicken is regretting buying a dirtbike but there's really no way to tell this from the picture.

Only God Can Judge Me

So you're looking at the online program, trying to figure out what to see?
Yeah, me too.
Except I can't see anything at 10:15 because I have to do my show.
It's a good show!

lots of animation, heaps of ideas quickly, smart jokes, dumb jokes, three terrible puns, mild horror, light swearing.

So come! Or don't! But if you see something good, let me know. It's always hard to tell from the program.

Presented by: Doug Bayne

Doug normally does animation, a strange and slow art form that happens alone in a dark room. Live comedy is sort of the opposite, in that it happens in real time, in a dark room full of people. Doug makes live comedy shows with lots of animation, so it's the best of both worlds. Also the worst of both worlds. Let's not go romanticising this whole double world thing. Doug once hospitalised three kids while working as a clown.
