One Night with Bonnie Weaver

Cabaret • Theatre

Replace the absinthe with Gin, Erik Satie with Sidekick, and Marlene Dietrich with Bonnie Weaver and you've got an Adelaide Fringe style 'Le Chat Noir'!

You'll fall in love with broken Bonnie Weaver, an exquisite representation of the passive but dominant femme fatale who made the origins of French and German cabaret sexy. But our Bonnie is about to experience a very unsexy breakdown. As she oscillates between her scripted show and recounting personal experiences she begins to confide in her audience and all the while her faithful Sidekick's fingers dance across the piano. The show must go on and Bonnie will dazzle you with Jazz, soothe you with a sultry ballad and beguile you with the blues.

Last year's Fringe award winner Caetlyn Collins won't disappoint those of you who love an extra good dose of bourgeoisie melodrama, dark sophisticated humour, song and sexual innuendo.
