Once Upon a Spine: The Life of Frida Kahlo - Frida's self portrait of her broken spine.

Once Upon a Spine: The Life of Frida Kahlo

Step inside the heart of Frida Kahlo — a woman who turned pain into colour, heartbreak into poetry, and her broken spine into the pillar of a legend. Once Upon a Spine is a surreal, one-woman journey through Frida’s extraordinary life.

Through bold visuals, poetic storytelling, and dreamlike transformations, Frida relives her fiercest moments — the bus crash that split her world in two, her tempestuous love for Diego, and the creation of the self-portraits that made her immortal.

Once Upon a Spine invites the audience to witness Frida not as a museum icon, but as a living, laughing, bleeding woman who refused to be ordinary. This show celebrates the indestructible spirit of an artist who taught us that beauty can rise from brokenness.

There will be a performance by Mexican dancers on the 21st of March. Bring your camara and best smiles to take photos at the Frida inspired Photobooth that will be set up as a beautiful backdrop with props.
