No, No, You First
Have you ever had a dream, but something kept holding you back? Fear of failure, fear of ridicule, or financial ruin? Laurence Driscoll is here to show you it’s never too late to chase your passion. As a child, he performed secret concerts in the chook shed, danced on the verandah, hoping a Young Talent Time scout would whisk him to stardom. He learned the moves for the school Rock Eisteddfod, but settled for a “boy-appropriate” role. Now, after years of waiting, he’s taking centre stage. Laurence’s show explores overcoming fears, embracing your true self, and stepping into the spotlight. With wit, charm, and nostalgia, this is for anyone who’s ever wondered, “What if?”
“Spirited delivery and tight, efficient storytelling.” Steve Bennett, Chortle.
“Bitingly, viciously funny.” Alice Claire.
