South Australian–born vocalist Bonnie Lee Galea (of Maltese heritage) began her professional music career at 33 in 1999 after years living and working overseas, including touring with Silver’s Grande Magic Circus in Victoria. Settling in Darwin, she discovered her natural talent as a vocalist, forming her first cover, corporate and original bands while also supporting John Morrison at Jazz on the Lawns and appearing in Guys & Dolls (2004). After stints in Brisbane and interstate, Bonnie returned to Adelaide in 2010, re-establishing herself on the local scene forming her bands including Jazz in Cheek, Bonfire Blues & Bonnie & the BoyZ. Since recording her first CD in 2014, she has collaborated with partner Quinton Dunne (The Beggars) to create a number of successful touring cabaret shows
