Neil Diamond's Love at the Greek. What a Beautiful Noise!
Four summers after his iconic Hot August Night in 1972, Neil Diamond returned to the Greek Theatre to weave his spell over live audiences once again with ‘Love at the Greek’.
Only one summer after his acclaimed Adelaide Fringe performances of Hot August Night, Troy Harrison returns to transport you once again to the magical place and time that was the 1970’s. Performing Love at the Greek in its entirety, the evening will be truly a Beautiful Noise!
More than a tribute, ‘Love at the Greek’ mesmerises with the power of music to heal, transform and connect human hearts across time and space. Bear witness to the ethereal bond between two musicians, and experience what this special performance meant to a young man looking for a star to guide him.
Presented by: Troy Harrison
Respected as one of Adelaide's most enduring and entertaining musicians, Troy Harrison has a unique sound of his own. Predominately performing as a soloist, Troy has become known for his distinctive vocals, his infectious crowd interaction, and as an axe-man of melodic sensibility. Heavily influenced by the likes of Mark Knopfler, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, and Carlos Santana, Troy has developed a guitar style of his own. But unfortunately he can not escape the fact that Neil Diamond sounds remarkably like him!
