My mum died - RUDE!
Have you ever wondered what happens when a grief therapist deals with the death of her own mother (especially along with some other deaths in short order!)? This new show exploring the processes of grief that affect us all will tell you - with laughter and honesty. Based on her weekly video diary posts on social media for a year following her mum's death, the humour, insight, love and sorrow of Annetta's journey wrangling the Grief Beastie is a must-see for anyone wondering if it's possible to ever 'do grief' right.
Presented by: Annetta Mallon
A seasoned grief and trauma recovery psychotherapist, writer, public speaker, social researcher, and end of life consultant, Annetta lives in the central north of lutruwita Tasmania with her husband and dog after moving during the pandemic (who didn't??!) from the NSW Central Coast. Supporting the grieving, the dying and care networks in her work, Annetta offers compassion, humour, and life experience to her clients, and now to you her audience. She sometimes does end of life-oriented guest lectures for universities, and enjoys gardening and swimming in the local lake in her downtime.Housebroken, but still salty.
