About this event

Returning for the fourth year in a row, 'Music With Motion' is a unique, family-friendly concert experience which ties together the live performance of game music and breathtaking videos on the big screen. Performed by the Woodville Concert Band, this show premieres arrangements of old classics and new releases by the band's artistic director and award-winning composer, Nathan Cummins. It is designed for music and gaming enthusiasts alike.

This year, brace yourself for more excitement than ever: it is the 'End Game' and the band zeros in on the dramatic music of final and boss levels. Think desolated landscapes, mythical enemies, jaw-dropping confrontations and get ready to be glued to your seat!

Presented by:
Woodville Concert Band

The Woodville Concert Band is a not-for-profit inclusive ensemble with a diverse repertoire that stretches from jazz to game music.

Based in the western suburbs, the band promotes musical education and community involvement. It provides a supportive environment which enables all members to grow as musicians and take an active part in community activities. The band particularly prides itself on performing at community events such as ANZAC services and citizenship ceremonies.

Above all, band members enjoy playing and sharing music. Each of us truly aims to embrace the power of music to spread joy and bring people together—as encapsulated in our motto: “music played for the community, by the community”.
