Woodville Concert Band is a community band situated in the Western suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The Band's membership represents a good mix of ages and abilities on Woodwind, Brass and Percussion.
The Concert Band plays a variety of different styles of music, including but not limited to:
Big Band, Jazz/Swing,
Movie/TV themes,
Marches and Classics,
Pop and Rock,
Show tunes,
Game and Anime music.
The Band plays at a variety of engagements in the community, private functions and Council organised events.
Woodville Concert Band aims:
To promote musical education and to perform together at concerts and for the musical pleasure of the community.
To encourage participation amongst students and adults in the community.
To maintain active liaison with all schools in the region.
