MISSING! Have you heard these songs?
Several songs have been reported missing from Sweet Songs’ setlists in recent years. Vocalist Fergus Maximus confirmed the songs were indeed missing, conceding that he and lead guitarist Doctor D, “couldn’t figure out how to shoehorn them into our SA-themed Fringe shows.” The award-winning songwriters further admitted they have missed performing them.
Until now! Don’t miss this opportunity to hear the songs that got stuck in their heads as they revisit old favourites and introduce some new ones they can’t wait to share.
Ably supported by The Missing Links (aka the Sweet Songs band), MISSING! embraces rock, power-pop, alt-folk, blues and jazz in songs exploring love and loss, joy and regret, science and art with wry humour, sensitivity and occasional twinges of melancholy.
It's unmissable!

Doctor D is a guitarist/songwriter based in Adelaide and London whose songs feature big tunes, witty, satirical lyrics and searing lead guitar.
Fergus Maximus is an engaging singer/storyteller/saxophonist with a soulful voice whose melodic pop/rock songs overflow with wry wit, intelligence and fun.
The award-winning songwriters first collaborated in the sell-out 2021 Adelaide Fringe Show SWT_HM_ADL which evolved into Sweet Home SA, Sweet Home Songs and, most recently, Back in ADL, featuring songs from their 2023 album Back in ADL (Sweet Home SA Vol 1). They continue to delight audiences with their amiable on-stage personalities, engaging storytelling, and music which fuses blues-rock, alt-folk, power pop, rock and jazz with lyrics that range from deeply reflective to gleefully absurd.
