Just back from a tour through Czech Republic, Libor Smoldas and Ingrid James have been long-time collaborators. They released an album in 2023 “Midnight Sun” and have been described as sharing “a similar approach to jazz, [with] their assertive phrasing being infused with a sort of lyrical sensitivity” (Nikolas Fotakis, AustralianJazz.net). With timeless melodies that span from the 1930s to the present day, these artists possess a “unique and distinctive collaboration…Libor is a genuine jazz guitar virtuoso, seamlessly combining the American blues-based tradition with European folk and classical elements, shaping them into a signature style that’s all his own.

The Adelaide Jazz Club is a pop-up collaboration between a group of friends who love to promote Jazz. Founded in 2017 by Mark Keough after visiting the Brisbane Jazz Club, it seeks to promote, educate and keep alive popular and easy-listening Jazz.
