Leslie & Anita: Fallen Stars of Hong Kong
A bilingual retro cabaret that tells a story about the power of authenticity through celebrating the music of deceased Hong Kong artists Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui, Queer icons whose performances transcended time, genders, and sexuality. Intertwining 80s Cantopop songs with storytelling in English, we pay tribute to the fallen stars of Hong Kong.
The show will be captioned in both English and traditional Chinese. The production is led by South-Australia-based emerging Queer Asian creatives.
