Looking for fun hands-on activities to try out with your kid this Fringe? We've brought you a memorable experience based on the idea of skill building and sustainability for the youngsters.

Try expressing yourself by painting on a high quality tote bag or a canvas! Come along to this family-friendly painting class with Rehana. Paint a beautiful bag in two hours for library or shopping. Learn some tips and tricks to pursue your creative mission.

Enjoy with your kid and paint a sweet memory to nurture your bonding moments. Pleasantly surprise your kids by signing up for this session and they'll surprise you with their creativity. People join this class to celebrate special occasions or just to reconnect with the young ones. Sometimes we get three generations painting together!

Presented by: Rehana Usman

Rehana Usman is an accomplished textile designer and artist, with a bachelor's degree in Textile Design from the prestigious National College of Arts, Pakistan. From an early age she knew that she wanted more from life and aimed to deliver to the best of her capacity. She has served in the national TV designing costumes for a kids' fiction series. She lead some of the biggest textile firms of Pakistan & taught in different art colleges. After moving to Australia, she set up Studio Rags to share her skills with other people. Her expertise in textiles soon grabbed the attention of local councils, libraries, schools and WEA. She has also mentored a team of young Australian artists through NGA, Canberra. She writes kids' stories for her podcast. Join her class to create something different.
