About this event

Escaped psychiatric patient Kevin Haggerty is not pleased about his diagnosis, even less pleased about being on a section of the Mental Health Act and distinctly upset about being told he is not the reincarnation of the pharaoh Ramses II. On his way to Egypt, via Woolworths, he stumbles across the nemesis to all his plans: Millie -- a lost six-year-old. Together they embark on a journey that will change both their lives forever.

Presented by:
Rob Gee

Rob Gee worked for 12 years as a registered nurse in mental health before coming a full-time writer and performer.

As a comic and stand up poet, Rob has shared stages with Harold Pinter, Sue Townsend (Adrian Mole) and Jimmy Carr, and won over twenty awards for his solo shows. He is patron of Leicester Action for Mental Health Projects (LAMP) and lead artist for the Comedy Asylum - comedy shows created and performed by people with a label of 'severe and enduring' mental health problems. Kevin couldn't have been written without their input.
