Kathy Maniura is an award-winning queer writer and performer from the UK known for her charming, offbeat creations and viral online sketches. Her 2023 Fringe debut Objectified – which brought to life a series of surreal objects including a wine bottle and a paper straw – earned multiple five-star reviews, four award nominations, and a successful UK tour. The Scotsman called it “an exquisitely realised, understated delight,” and The Guardian praised her “charming” performance.

A rising star of alternative comedy, Kathy was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards 2023, is the Sketch Off Winner 2020 and a So You Think You’re Funny? Finalist 2021. She was also a finalist in Man Up 2023, Europe’s biggest drag king competition, performing as her alter ego The Cycling Man.
