Eklektika is a 12-voice vocal ensemble performing an eclectic range of musical genres, reimaging classical, traditional and contemporary music, directed by award winning Australian film and theatre composer, Dr Judy Stubbs. Eklektika has performed original works to critical acclaim at the International Peace Festival in Nanjing, China, the National Centre for Performing Arts in Mumbai, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Sydney Festival, and Sydney Fringe Festival; been featured in collaborative works with the Chinese National Traditional Orchestra (in Nanjing and Shanghai) and Illawarra’s Steel City Strings; and recorded original sound tracks by Dr Stubbs for documentaries featured on SBS and the History Chanel, and on Chinese and Indian television.
