James McLean: Goodie Two Shoes

Cabaret / Comedy
VIC
Scaled 800x800mclean
Peter Hart has nice manners and always will. When his new job accidentally makes him a gangland criminal, he must deliberately offend nasty men to survive... but why rock the boat?  An hilarious, polite story-telling farce full of annoying colleagues, bad bosses and Ratpack songs if you ask nicely.

Presented by: Faff & Sass Productions

"Original, quirky and consummate, James McLean turns a one-man show into six characters deserving of a full audience... this show demonstrates what you can do with a couple of props and a lot of latent talent. Don’t be rude and miss it." - ★★★★ The Advertiser

"Switches from character to character with ease"- ★★★★ Adelaide Theatre Guide

“A rising local talent.” ★★★★1/2, KryztoffRAW  "

Bursting with surprises, wry wit and charm." ★★★★, Clothesline

Venue

Adelaide Botanic Garden

An idyllic and peaceful black box theatre, an outdoor rose garden bar by Blanco, and views of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens lake and the Conservatory. With ample parking on Hackney road (next to the Wine Centre), the Noel Lothian Hall is not your typical fringe venue. Home to a season of theatrical events, curated by Artistic Director Joanne Hartstone (The Bunker Trilogy, My Name Is Saoirse, The Girl Who Jumped Off The Hollywood Sign) and run by South Australian Artists. The Noel Lothian Hall is a blank canvas for theatre performers (a bricks and mortar building with modern technical capabilities, silence and blackout!) and a gorgeous retreat for patrons from the busy bustle of the fringe.

Enter via Goodman Gates off Hackney Rd, (next to Wine Centre Car Park), Adelaide, SA, 5000
