Ingrid James Quartet - Love and other fiascos

The Ingrid James Quartet will present classic 'cool' standards from the Great American and Latin Songbook as well as classic contemporary pop songs. Her interpretations are wrapped in storytelling with her forte being her infectious interplay with the musicians with which she plays.

She has performed extensively around Australia at festivals such as the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Manly Jazz Festival, Kiama Jazz Festival, Devonport Jazz Festival including Brisbane International Jazz and Valley Jazz Festivals as well as in the Spiegeltent for the Brisbane Festival. International highlights include Ronnie Scotts in London as well as 606 Club, Jazz Pizza Express, Spice of Life, a tour around the UK, Prague and in France, where she opened for the Blue Note Jazz Festival in Monaco

The Adelaide Jazz Club was formed in 2018. It has a commitment to artists and lovers of all things Jazz.
The Adelaide Jazz Club is managed by of a small group of enthusiasts led by music lover and small-scale music promoter, Mark Keough.
The club atmosphere and intimate bar setting make for a great night out, for romantics, live music tragics, or groups of friends seeking a great evening's entertainment. The venue enjoys great food, tapas and light platters, and a selection of fine wines and cocktails.
The Adelaide Jazz Club plans to launch slowly, extending throughout 2019, with concerts at our partner venue, the Gilbert Street Hotel 88 Gilbert St Adelaide.
