Ingrid James - Jazz Singers Workshop and Jam

Ingrid James has been coordinating the Jazz Singers Jam Night at the Brisbane Jazz Club for over 17 years. It has launched the careers of many singers. For the Fringe, Ingrid will be offering an afternoon workshop and evening replica of this regular Brisbane Jazz Club feature. Workshop Registration qualifies you for selection for the Jam. Selected workshop participants will be offered 2 songs with a professional Jazz ensemble backing them at the evening Jam performance. During 2019 the Adelaide Jazz Club will offer further Jazz Jam Sessions for Adelaide's aspiring and accomplished Jazz singers following a similar format to the Brisbane Jazz Clubs Jazz Singers Jam Sessions.

The Adelaide Jazz Club was formed in 2018. It has a commitment to artists and lovers of all things Jazz.
The Adelaide Jazz Club is managed by of a small group of enthusiasts led by music lover and small-scale music promoter, Mark Keough.
The club atmosphere and intimate bar setting make for a great night out, for romantics, live music tragics, or groups of friends seeking a great evening's entertainment. The venue enjoys great food, tapas and light platters, and a selection of fine wines and cocktails.
The Adelaide Jazz Club plans to launch slowly, extending throughout 2019, with concerts at our partner venue, the Gilbert Street Hotel 88 Gilbert St Adelaide.
