In the Mist

In a dim and foggy room, you can just make out the contours of male figures, trapped in moments of loneliness and longing for intimacy. This VR transports you to a gay sauna to a state between dreaming and waking, a place where you observe and are observed yourself. Taiwanese theatre and film director Chou Tung-Yen takes viewers to a place that has rarely been explored in virtual media. He focuses on an underexposed experience within the gay community and poetically explores this space full of men, exploring different forms of love that can spark desires.
