Impromptunes is Australia's leading improvised musical comedy troupe, combining the mischief of improvisation with the glamour of musical theatre.

The troupe debuted in 2013 and has since performed across Australia at Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Perth Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe and Bondi Festival, and internationally at Edinburgh Fringe.

Each live show is a one-hour improvised musical, based on a single audience suggestion. All of the music, dialogue, songs and dances are completely made up on the spot.

Since 2018, Impromptunes has also released a weekly completely improvised musical podcast and in 2020 was nominated for Best Comedy Podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards.
