Honky Tonk Heaven
Mention honky tonk bars and think Hank Williams, whiskey, broken hearts,
cowboy boots, dancing and wild times! We'll transport you to a classic
honky tonk bar where you'll learn the Texas two-step before dancing the
night away to some of the the greatest honky tonk tunes ever sung, played
by some of Adelaide's finest musicians and guest singers. Classic Southern
style food will also be available and there'll be some pretty cool best
dressed prizes!

Weildickart Events brings together four of Adelaide’s most fervent Americana music lovers. As well as being Vice President of the Americana Music Association of Australia, Paul and his wife Wren Heggart are two-parts of local Americana band, The Heggarties and regularly help bring some of Australia’s best performers to the Adelaide music scene. Along with Mark Bandick, lead singer and guitarist of revered bluegrass band The Cherry Pickers and communications specialist Bianca Weiler, they are all passionate supporters of independent, live music events. Inspired by their visits to honky tonk bars across the southern US, they’re bringing the best of American music, dance and culture back home to Adelaide.
