As the last of 9 children in a small country town, I had already collected a gold mine of stories before I even left home. When I grew up, I studied acting at Flinders & went on to work extensively in theatre, live art & screen, as well as making my own shows from interviews, conversations, confessions and observations of and with other humans, from strangers to my mum, drawing from an ancient yet modern documentary style. The best moments of these conversations I collect together to make theatre shows where I literally stand up and tell some big yarns. Telling stories is my thing - I love to do it and am always exploring new ways of telling them.
