The Garden of Unearthly Delights

The Garden of Unearthly Delights remains unrivalled as Australia’s most vibrant and dynamic festival precinct. Each year, The Gardeners, a partnership between Strut & Fret Production House and Buxton Walker, create a unique festival playground including multiple performance venues, bars, carnival rides, an array of world foods, market stalls and the most unexpected sideshow surprises. The Garden began with just one Spiegeltent in 2000. Over the past 17 years it’s evolved into the greatest arts event in town and the heart of Adelaide’s summer arts festival season. In 2017 The Garden’s 14.4 acre precinct included 13 temporary performance spaces, hosted over a 1000 performances and engaged over 750,000 visitors across 31 days. Our programming is award-winning and internationally recognised, receiving 17 weekly Fringe Awards and 6 overall Fringe Awards in 2017. The Garden and its exceptional program of arts and entertainment create an electrifying energy throughout Adelaide each summer.
