"The brilliant Hand in Hand is a timeless treat which will appeal to all ages." ★★★★★ - The Advertiser. Hand in Hand performed by Vertical Insanity Circus, explores the experiences, relationships and connections between a group of diverse individuals. Incorporating a colourful combination of circus, physical theatre and paint, Hand in Hand illustrates the complexities of human interaction and how they shape us.
After making a successful debut in the Adelaide Fringe for 2015, this team of enthusiastic performers have developed several contemporary circus performances including Trapped (2015 & 2016), Mortal Sins (2016), Try Again (2016 & ★★★★ 2017) and High Tea with Burlesque (★★★★ 2017). Young in heart, mind and body, Vertical Insanity Circus celebrates the raw talent the Adelaide circus community has to offer, and is extremely excited to debut it's new work, Hand in Hand, in 2018!

Presented by:
Vertical Insanity Circus

Vertical Insanity Circus is a contemporary circus performance company that was founded in 2015 by a group of local Adelaide circus artists. Originally apart of the CircoBats Performance Troupe, these young performers have since branched off to create, explore and play with their own artistic style.
After making a successful debut in the Adelaide Fringe for 2015, this team of enthusiastic performers have developed several performances including Trapped, Mortal Sins and Try Again. All members are aged 23 and under, who share a strong passion about the circus arts and the joy it brings to the community.
Whilst Vertical Insanity Circus is a young company, its members have trained, performed and travelled together for many years in various state wide and international performances.

Venue

Gluttony

Gluttony is a vibrant outdoor hub - a festival within a festival at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Full of beautiful tent venues, bars, awesome food vendors, and a relaxed space for sitting and having a glass of wine before a show, Gluttony has gone from strength to strength, growing each year whilst still maintaining an intimate atmosphere for punters and artists alike. We have a prime position on the corner of East Terrace and Rundle Street, across from the Garden and adjoining the Fringe Club. As Gluttony’s directors, we maintain a strong focus on working with our artists to get the best results we can for them. We are interested in long-term, collaborative and healthy relationships with producers and artists so that we can continue to grow great results together for years to come. Gluttony’s popularity is growing annually, and we always invest back into the hub.
