This show belongs to the Adelaide Fringe 2025 season. This season is now over.

A title in Black, with gold and blue highlights, on a white background. It reads 'GRANDPA POSEIDON' . To the left there is a man dressed as Poseidon, wearing a white singlet, a gold crown, and holding a golden triton in one hand and a packet of hot chips in the other.

GRANDPA POSEIDON

From internationally award winning Wright&Grainger comes their first show for everyone in the family.

A kid is on holiday in a seaside town.
A seagull is stealing a chip.
And Poseidon is sat at a bus stop staring at the ocean.

It’s a story about being somewhere that feels new, about being scared of change, about talking, listening and helping someone find their feet in a new landscape.
Storytelling, with songs, and post-it notes.
It’s a story about feeling a bit lost, and about finding your way again. It’s a story about a seaside town, a retired god, and a kid.
