Gospel Blues Show Case - Featuring Kings and Associates with brass, plus guests.
Presented by Kings and Associates performing some of the most iconic gospel blues tunes of the ages. The performance honours the remarkable cultural movement from the 20th century and the music that stirred generations with impassioned lyrics expressing the reality of oppression and hope. Featuring artists such as Blind Willie Johnson, Mavis Staples, Skip James and Mississippi John Hurt, this is a performance that inspires leaving audiences feeling like they’ve just had a ‘religious experience'!!
