Gifts from the King - songs that Elvis taught me

When she took an unexpected foray into Elvis Presley mania, Mel McCaig (Flat on your Bacharach, Women with Standards, Fiddle and the Drum, Hindley Street Country Club, Fabulous Singlettes) discovered some of the most tender, poignant and soulful songs of our time.

It turns out artists like Roberta Flack, Dusty Springfield, Nancy Sinatra and Aretha Franklin have all been singing from the King's songbook.

With 8 first class musicians, jaw-dropping arrangements and big vocal harmonies, this raw and honest story of smashing stereotypes was the sell-out success of Feast 2018.

"Powerful, sassy performer." Sydney Morning Herald
"She is gutsy, beautiful and classy, with vocals to match. This show is Elvis with a twist of jazz and it works". Broadway World
"Virtuosic and impassioned." dB Maga
