Gemma Caruana: RAGE BAIT
Gemma has a lot of big feelings -
Perfectionist theatre kid, turned carefree comedian, turned divine feminine monster; bear witness as this clenched & campy queen of cabaret explores female rage through sketch, original tunes and a complex relationship with funghi pizza.
'RAGE BAIT' digs deep into the sh*t that makes us p*ssed; Fuming about the state of society and impending environmental collapse? Valid. Still seething about the unforgivable departure of bisexual icon and tomboy teen-mum Bridget Parker on Neighbours in 2009? Also valid!
Directed by Sharnema Nougar and Composed by Daniel Tusjak, 'RAGE BAIT' is the ultimate sketch-cabaret for those sick of doomscrolling seeking a deranged diva to offer a strong dose of comedic catharsis.
