Gardens of the Heart
Poets around the world have joined hands in this gentle project
involving words, cloth and thread. Each was given a random number and
invited to compose and stitch text to be a first, middle, or closing
line. None of the writers knew what the others were writing about but
when such deeply considered lines are placed together, curious beauty
unfolds.

India Flint is best known as the originator of the highly distinctive ecoprint, an ecologically sustainable plant based printing process giving brilliant colour to cloth. An internationally renowned artist and author, India's work is represented in collections and museums in Australia, Latvia and Germany.
h.ART is a community led not for profit group with the aim of facilitating and supporting arts activities at the emerging arts precinct in the buildings of the State Heritage listed Lobethal Woollen Mills.
