Fuja presents: The Greatest Horn Sections of All Time!
Fuja is an Kaurna/Adelaide-based band, full of fresh and funky vibes, with the magical ability to transport you to the dance floor. Originally an 8-piece band, we have brought on three extra members just for the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Season.
Through the music of Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, and many more, Fuja will bring you the best that funk has to offer. With a tight horn section, grooving rhythm section, and the dulcet tones of our two vocalists, it'll be tough to resist the urge to boogie.
We have had the privledge of playing with some of Adelaide's finest, such as bassist Dr Lyndon Gray and violinist Julian Ferraretto, so we are excited to bring you funk at its best.

Hannah is a graduate of the Elder Conservatorium, completing a degree in Jazz Voice. She is a musician, composer and arranger based on Kaurna land. Through her recent musical projects, she has frequented the Wheaty through Creative Original Music Adelaide (COMA) and worked with Women in Jazz Adelaide, composing for their Big Band and for her own band. Hannah is looking forward to producing and singing in this show, having been her passion project for a number of years!
