Frankie Foxstone A.K.A. The Profit: Walking Tour

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Comedy
United Kingdom • Australian Premiere
Enter Frankie Foxstone: perfectly poised but unapologetically ruthless, young property developer. Taking you on a whirlwind tour of her plans for Adelaide's green spaces, this is interactive satire for our insatiable era.

Gaulier-trained, British performer and writer, Amy Gwilliam makes her Australian debut presenting her creation, Frankie Foxstone, fresh from sell out shows at Edinburgh Fringe 2019 and HighTide Theatre Festival.

"Multi-faceted and thrillingly subversive ... a deliciously clever concept." ★★★★ THE SCOTSMAN.

"Unapologetic, hilarious. Frankie holds a mirror to our money-grabbing society and it's biting, refreshing" Ailin Conant.

"A total highlight" Audience review, HighTide Festival 2018

Whilst the Garden of Unearthly Delights is wheelchair accessible, the walking tour itself is not.

Amy Gwilliam is a theatre-maker, performer and facilitator based in London.

Amy trained for two years at the Ecole Philippe Gaulier following a degree in English Literature at Cambridge University. She has since undertaken shorter trainings with Transpose, SITI Company, Song of the Goat, Complicite, Told by an Idiot, Ecole Jacques LeCoq, Cardboard Citizens and Kneehigh. Amy holds a diploma in Therpeutic Skills from the Society of Analytical Psychology.

Inspired by the messy paradoxes of what it is to be …human. The stories Amy tells, characters she portrays, and ways she teaches are defined by capturing - and disrupting - the masks we present to the world. Amy works with a fervent, fabulous belief that theatre can make us better creatures - kinder, deeper and much sillier.
