Fracture

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Physical Theatre
Australia • World Premiere
Hello you. This is the show I've made coz I'm not ready to make the one I really want to make about eating disorders because #triggered. So I invite you to share in my creative process until I get brave enough to explore the message I want to land in people's earholes and delicately touch people's heartstrings. I will probably do it anyway. I'll welcome you into how fractured I am, how my relationships are fractured as f*ck and probably point out that we all are pretty fractured. I'm a professional actor so I'll say some words, but also do the physical movement things so expect weird and wacky with some heart opening clown slotted in between the cracks.
This project was supported by Artist Wellbeing Practitioner, Lou Platt, and Queensland Theatre through the provision of in-kind venues

Presented by: Alice Marsh

This is Alice's debut solo Fringe Performance.

Alice trained at Flinders Drama Centre and graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Drama) (Honours). She has performed in 'Angelique' (isthisyours), 'The Book-Week Show' (Splash Theatre Company), and devised with ActNOW. In 2019 Alice was selected for Frantic Assembly’s International Summer School in London, which was generously supported by Helpmann Academy. She has also trained in Suzuki, Viewpoints and dance-theatre making with Force Majeure in Sydney.

Alice's mission is to make autobiographic theatre that explores themes that are difficult to talk about. She's also pretty keen on developing ways of making theatre that keeps the creatives and the audience safe, hence why an Artist Wellbeing Practitioner (UK) is on board for this show
