'FOR ART SAKE ART PRIZE' is hosting an exclusive Finalist Exhibition at Atkins Gallery as part of the 2019 Adelaide Fringe Festival. Selected finalists will create the best visual interpretation of a SA-based kids charity, Treasure Boxes who provide support for children & families living in disadvantage.

The winner & peoples choice award will be announced on Opening Night. Enjoy classical guitar throughout the event by Dylan Boller, plus a special spoken word performance to celebrate the premier event of the latest SA visual arts prize over a glass of wine & nibbles. The exhibition runs from the 13th February - 13th March 2019.

Danae Thyssen, Managing Director of For Art Sake & well renown South Australian Visual Artist with a Masters in Art, Design & Creative Practice. Danae has received multiple awards for outstanding achievement, including 2013 Golden Key Scholarship Award & the Linda Lou Murphy Scholarship Award. In 2015; finalist in the Emma Hack Art Prize; The NCAP Awards; and Australian Contemporary Arts Prize in both 2015 & 2018.

In 2015 Danae was an exhibiting artist & Co-curator of the Little Rundle Street Art Project, nominated for a Fringe Award. Danae was part of the Australian Milano Art Invasion, exhibiting at the Artmeet Gallery & Art Expo Milan during during the international World Expo; included in the Exposure Awards Digital Art Display, which premiered at the Louvre on the 13th July 2015.
